Ethernet extender switch simplifies network extension

Moxa has launched the industrial Ethernet extender switch, IEX-408E-2VDSL2, to address growing networking extension requirements driven by the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

The IEX-408E-2VDSL2 supports two VDSL2 ports and 6 Ethernet ports for long distance data transmission over twisted-pair copper wiring. This product enables users to make use of existing cables to upgrade and extend their networks quickly as well as reduce costs.

As industries move towards the IIoT, the IEX-408E-2VDSL2 is said to offer a solution to build reliable and cost-effective network infrastructure. The Ethernet extender supports two VDSL2 ports and six Ethernet ports, which provides users with flexibility for linking devices together over long distances. In addition, it is also said to enable easy installation, reliability, and easy management.
