Measuring amplifer for control cabinets

15 September 2015

HBM has introduced the DMP41 digital measuring amplifier, for installation in control cabinets.

Enclosed in a 19in housing, the DMP41 is said to be suitable for calibration and adjustment of strain gauge based force, torque and pressure transducers, as well as load cells and flow sensors that are calibrated using load cells.

HBM cites an accuracy class of 0.005 for the unit, even in the toughest of conditions, such as industrial environments with high EMC requirements.  It features between two and six simultaneously measuring channels and has a user-friendly design that can be easily operated via a touch screen or PC screen.

The latest version of the DMP41 incorporates patented background calibration, that is said to ensure measurement can always continue, even while calibration of internal measurement channels are in progress.
