Amarinth agent to ‘shore up’ export market

11 April 2008

Dong Energy has installed three new API 610 pumps on North Sea Siri field oil platforms. The Danish energy group selected the pumps, purchased through Amarinth agent TUROteknikk, to replace worn out Girdlestone water injection pumps.

Suffolk based Amarinth recently appointed the Norwegian agent to shore up its expanding export market and hopes that the move will establish a firm foothold in the Scandinavian market.

‘Despite the well discussed downturn in the UK economy there are still plenty of opportunities for business in the North Sea,’ said Oliver Brigginshaw, managing director of Amarinth. ‘With oil prices at an all time high, Amarinth is better placed than most to capitalise on new opportunities, particularly following our new agency agreement with TUROteknikk.’
